AI designer terms

These terms apply when you use the Teevero AI designer. They are part of our terms of service. If they conflict with the terms of service about the AI designer, these terms apply.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older.
You need a Teevero account. Before your first AI design, you give us a US mobile phone number once. We save it on your account and use it to limit abuse and to reach you about your design or order if needed. We don't use it for marketing.
One account per person. Don't share your account or create extra accounts to get more generations.

We don't send marketing text messages.

How it works

You describe the design you want.
Our system checks your description, then sends it to our image-generation providers, which create design options.
Generated options are checked again before you see them.
You choose an option, place it on a shirt, and order it if you like it.
Before we print an order with an AI design, a person on our team checks it.

Daily limit

Each account can use "Create designs" up to 10 times per day. The day runs midnight to midnight, Central Time (America/Chicago). We may change the limit, or pause the AI designer, at any time, for example to prevent abuse or during high demand. Unused runs don't carry over and have no cash value.

What you can and can't ask for

Use the AI designer only for designs you are allowed to print. Our content policy applies to your descriptions and to generated designs. Don't ask for:

Brand names, logos or trademarks, including sports teams, schools and leagues.
Characters from movies, TV, games, comics or books.
Celebrities or other real people, unless you have their permission.
Anything else our content policy prohibits.

Don't try to get around our checks or the daily limit, for example with misspellings, coded words, scripts or extra accounts. We may block descriptions or designs, suspend your access, or close your account if you break these rules.

Our checks

Descriptions and generated designs are checked automatically. Every order with an AI design gets a human check before printing. Checks can miss things or block things by mistake. Passing our checks does not mean a design is free of other people's rights. We may refuse to print or cancel an order with an AI design. If we cancel, we refund you in full for the canceled items.

Check your design before you order

AI can make mistakes. Generated designs may:

Spell words wrong, or show text that's garbled.
Get details, hands, faces, numbers or symbols wrong.
Look a bit different when printed than on screen.

Check every detail before you order. We print the design you approve. Mistakes that were in the design you approved are not defects. Print defects and shipping damage are still covered by our refund policy.

Who owns AI designs

We don't claim ownership of your designs. As between you and us, you may use the designs you create with the AI designer, subject to these terms and the law.
Designs may not be unique. Other people may get similar designs from similar descriptions.
Copyright may not protect them. Under current US Copyright Office guidance, material generated entirely by AI is not protected by copyright. Your own creative contributions, like artwork you add or meaningful changes you make, may be. Writing a description by itself is generally not enough. This means you may not be able to stop others from using a similar design.
We can't promise a design is free of others' rights. AI systems can sometimes produce images that look like existing artwork, characters or logos. You are responsible for making sure you can use a design before you order or use it.

Your promises

When you use the AI designer and order a design, you promise that your description and your use of the design follow these terms, our content policy and the law. The promises about your content, the license you give us, and the indemnity in our terms of service also apply to your descriptions and AI designs.

What we do with your descriptions and designs

We use your descriptions and generated designs to run the AI designer, apply the daily limit, check content, print and support your orders, and prevent abuse.
We send your descriptions to our image-generation providers, Kie.ai (primary) and fal.ai (backup). They process them as our service providers, under their own terms, to create designs for us.
We keep your descriptions and generated designs while your account is open, so you can find and reorder them. We delete them when you ask us to or when you close your account. Designs that are part of an order are kept with the order record.
We won't use your designs in our marketing unless you give us permission.
Please don't put personal information in your descriptions.

The providers

The AI designer relies on third-party providers. Their availability, quality and results are outside our full control. We may change providers. We may change, limit or stop the AI designer at any time. The disclaimers and limitation of liability in our terms of service apply to the AI designer, to the extent permitted by law.
